PvP might actually become a thing in Factorio. i have heard many times pvp is not what people come to factorio to do.

but the platform is for sure capable for it. the weapons are balanced well. It has a meta rivaling Starcraft when it comes to base builds and tech tree's.
I have been messing with factorio pvp scenarios for a bit and I just want to point out a few things that need to come to life in the api.

change the kill message to show who i want it to. let me specify that in the scenario because it is different depending on what your playing. (everyone still sees them respawn ;P )

make it so i can detect in the api who killed who. So in a death match scenario I could award points based on player kills.

added a button to turn off your flaslight so the other team doesn't see you from a mile away.

I added in the gravestone mod to my scenario so when players kill one another their stuff is dropped to a lootable chest. but if they are holding more than what a steel chest can hold it gets deleated..(make this easier)
