Game places picked up items only into active hotbar line. In previous version only one hotbar line was visible and you have to switch to acces other. but now both of them are visible but still only one is active. So pres "X" to make second hotbar line active and you would be able to pick up that wood.

While I understand that only one quickbar line can be active at the time due to the key shortcuts for quick acces but picked up items should still be placed into either of them becouse right now it could get quite confusing. That same confusion is result of this tread being made in the first place.

SilverWarrior -- I couldn't pick up the wood since it isn't a placeable entity -- those can't be stored in your quickbar (iron plates, copper, wood, etc).
