Question on Modular Armor
I was wondering if the laser thing "stacks" i.e. having more = more damage? (more attacks per second? or more "damage"?)
also, is it ever necessary to have more than one "portable fusion reactor"?
Also... night vision.. the green stops me from using it...
Re: Question on Modular Armor
Yes more laser turrets you have - faster they will shoot.
2 fusion reactors are necessary if you tend to have multiple exosuits (faster speed) and shields at the expense of batteries.

Re: Question on Modular Armor
I find the lasers to be useless compared to Destroyer Capsules. This is my current setup. I recently removed a shield and added the second reactor. I'm still trying to figure out the right balance of power versus shields so that everything works at the same time.

Does that work?

2 reactors produce more energy, than he can consume

You're right, very right.

Shields? Laser defense? Bah. I find there's nothing a good jog can't solve!
Nothing like a stiff breeze at your back!
It's also amusing as this setup makes you go -so- much faster than your destroyers, that if you run in a circle, you can use them like some sort of space-flail to smash through an alien base. Doing so brings such joy.

Sometimes you're just target practice for giant, interstellar worms.

Re: Question on Modular Armor
power armor MK2 is SO much fun...a shame it takes so many alien artifacts that you may as well just win the game with rocket defense for a few more alien artifacts, than bother with mk2...I guess the journey really is more fun than the destination though making a MK2 in my next game!
Night Vision really got on my nerves too at first, but I found if I just kept with it, after a while I got used to the icky green and found it ok to use as part of my armor setup. My current game I'm trying to skip using lamps altogether and just getting modular armor with night vision sooner.
