Modular Factorio is just awesome!

Post by Deald1984 »

Hello!

I'm new but I'm so excited. I was very bored implementing the main bus idea again and thought I'd never touch Factorio again.

Then I read about mega bases and decided to try it out.

I decided to ignore the main bus and just try to get green science inefficiently to unlock trains and do the train only thing.

I'm now playing for days on end (I'm still at green science :D ) and are building (by hand) city blocks and make every component as efficiently as possible inside of the block.

The fun has totally returned! I really like the fact that you can just build a new block for something and have a train going for that resource and it just works. No more boring main bus.

Just epic! Thanks for reading.

Honestly, I'm waiting for the initial post to be edited to include a link and a claim of not being a bot, followed by the thread being locked and deleted... but that's just me. :)
