have you done it yet?
I have! The trick for me was optimizing my blueprints for the personal roboport. You could probably win it by getting upgrade points early or at least soonish, but that'll likely take longer and I think sort of defeats the purpose of the scenario.

It was really fantastic fun, I have to say.

Why is it always killer undead robots of some kind? >.<

Well, PVE is fairly popular game play and I think in this case there would be a moral progression of the protagonist. Robots can be inanimate, non-thinking and unaware and so destroying them isn't necessarily and act of destroying life.

So perhaps some kinda base that has gone rampant then? Maybe that's why the buggies have a seemingly instinctual fear of your base.

The issue wouldn't be an issue with 1 wagon trains though.
Aha! Ok I understand now. My assumption was that all belts from the station were going to the same recipe, so they would all draw at same rate and unevenly etc.

Semi-random thought. What would a robot do if it suddenly discovered that it was malfunctioning?

The factorio devs would hunt it down to fix the bug. ;)

If that's the case then I'd love to see killer undead robots as a faction. Few games handle rampancy well, and I don't think Factorio can handle the subject with the care it needs.

Kinda not inline with the theme of Factorio. Having bots suddenly turn against you would be kinda infuriating when you are just trying to expand your factory.

There are other games where random events suddenly putting you in a tricky situation are more the norm.

I wasn't talking about random events, I was talking about something more in-line with the theme of the post I had quoted not too long ago.
