Robots in player/spidertron inventory full

Is there a way/ will it be fixed that robots don’t fly out to pick up more stuff if the inventory is full?
Because as we all know , they will hover outside the player/spidertron and will get stranded if I move back to homebase.

Inventory management is a thing…

Your best bets would be to use a decon planner to cancel the decon orders, OR to just bite the bullet and head back to base to clean the inventory out.

The "Trash unrequested" feature in Factorio 2.0 may improve this situation for spidertrons, at least. It won't stop robots from collecting stuff, but it'll at least make it less likely that the spidertron inventory will fill up so quickly.
