Honestly, is the liquid code revamp ever coming?

I'm creating this thread because it has been MIA from the blog posts for ages and I would like to know if it is in the pipeline. I'm speaking as someone who has had problems creating reactors because the water didn't behave the way I expected, it seemed buggy a lot of the times I tried even though I used the wikis as reference. I don't like to use other people's blueprints but I really don't feel motivated to build my own designs if I can't rely on the system to perform the way it should.
