I noticed that coal is burning like paper in a bonfire. So I checked the energy value of coal and I was surprised to see that it is only at 4 MJ. Is there any particular reason as of why it is that low? Has this changed to balance the game or something? I mean real life coal goes up to 30 MJ.
Just out of curiosity.
Coal Fuel Value Only 4 MJ?

How do you even know how much coal coal is?

Well I assume it is per kg? It is quite confusing to just post 4 MJ so I assume standard units

Just a balancing thing. If you watch closely at many values, and comare them to real life values, you'll have surprises.
From coal energy density (assuming 1 is 1 kg) to the amount of light the sun should radiate to have 60kW solar panels, or the 1.21 GW one nuclear fuel contains, real life realism is not the main goal of the game.

Not to mention being able to carry forty rocket silos in your back pocket :vKoub wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:07 pm Just a balancing thing. If you watch closely at many values, and comare them to real life values, you'll have surprises.
