Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
To the developer and/or developers re: price.
Thank you for passing over one of my personal peeves when it comes to economic pricing: Setting the price one cent below asking price to make it sound cheaper.
Example: Factorio sells for 20 EUR flat.
Doom on the other hand sells for 59,99 EUR.
Asking 59,99 instead of 60 is to make it seem and sound cheaper than it is.
"Sixty euros? No, that's too much. Oooh, fifty-nine euros. Good value."
The key psychological factor here is that you say FIFTY. What ever comes after fifty is irrelevant. This leads to my pet peeve the 9,99 pricing. I like round numbers and Factorio delivers on that and sets itself above the companies trying to make games sound cheaper instead of just asking for what they want.
So thank you for not asking 19,99 for it. I like you more for it. ^_^

Thanks, just made my first mod! Posting this because I'm not allowed to submit my mod... first post on forum can't have a link? ok.
Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
Thanks developers. What I really appreciate is your generell approach concerning these things:
- You let us be part of the development
- You allow and support mods
- You have a honest pricing
Thats what really makes a differents compared to other developers! Keep it up!

Well, I played for almost 340 hours in a month and half... What that mean is a lot of lost sleep. Not that I am complaining, it was well worth it.
Cheers,

I Tried Multiple times to bring a MC Modpack as close as possible to this Game...
but nothing Beats the Original.
i really like the Customizability of Factorio and the Complexity it can Reach.
Only thing missing is... uhm... idk, this Game is Great as it is.
Also, only the Genius Devs can Improve Perfection.

Thank you for making this game I got attached to it the moment I started to play~
Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
To the devs, when my friend back in 2014 was trying to get me into this, saying it's a lot like Modded Minecraft, all I could really see is the insane complexity, and it just didn't look like my kind of game.
Now that it's on Steam, for only $20, I thought "what the hell" and got it. I've played for almost 3 weeks since I got it, and I still haven't even started on the endgame. And the only reason I've gotten this far is from help of Youtube, the Steam forum, and help from a friend for setting up Blue Science for me.
I still don't like how complex the game is (to the point I ask myself "why even play"). But I think because the 0.13 update is coming, and because trains are awesome (and so are the super-helpful mods that I have for it).
Still, I do not regret spending the $20. Honestly, it was a good investment. Though in ways I actually dread the 0.13 update (due to all of the mods I'm using are probably going to be broken and I'll be stuck in vanilla for awhile).
But to support mods this early in the development cycle, is quite awesome of you guys. Thank you.

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
I'm in work with my mind split in two: the half that works just to keep me alive and code a little, and the other half thinking a nice bluprint for extending my petrol mines, railway signaling and nightmares of native invasions.
I'm in home with my mind split in three: the part of being sociable with my wife and kids, the part that tries to stop thinking about work, and the part that's trying to figure out how many cargo wagons can fit in a single engine.
But saturday night, my mind works as one, playing Factorio until dawn, hell yeah. I f@cking love it.
I've never wrote a single line for a game, but I can tell that your work is awesome. Congratulations!

Thank you for all your work.
I just played all evening with some pickup guys whose now gamefriends on 0.13 and all works pretty fine.
The easier multiplayer give this game another dimension.
Keep going !

Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
Devs, 0.13 is such an improvement that if 0.12 was your initial release to market, 0.13 would be the expansion.
Re: Thank you (Make the dev-team happy today!)
I'm getting back into Factorio after 0.13's release, and I'm loving it so far! (Being able to mine those big rocks and get a good chunk of stone is perhaps a minor feature but it's a big game changer for me when I'm clearing out a location for construction - Not only do I not have to worry about spending resources on destroying rocks, but I actually get resources in return for it!
Thank you for making such an amazing game, and I look forward to seeing where it goes in the time to come!
