Steam install, Linux OS.
The "API call failed, path /api/mods, status 414" error is back, and my mods folder has less items in it than the last time that I updated mods.
Is there a known fix for this that doesn't involve wiping my mods folder?
Can't update mods /api/mods 414 - less mods in folder than before

Re: Can't update mods /api/mods 414 - less mods in folder than before
So on some further experimentation, it seems that the mod portal API has reduced its limit on the number of mods you can have installed to ~450.

windows Non steam install, same problem.Illiander42 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 05, 2021 1:49 pmSo on some further experimentation, it seems that the mod portal API has reduced its limit on the number of mods you can have installed to ~450.
Thank you for finding the reason for it now.
414 used to mean that the mod list query to the server was over 16000 characters or something.
450 should be a reasonable number for those that don't tend to digitally hoard stuff, but, um, yeah.
Grumbles about pruning things. again.
At least I don't have a base I'm too attached to currently, otherwise halving my modlist from ~14k characters / ~800 mods ~540 active would bork it.
Time to combine some simple mods manually.
