Cannot connect to server

Dear Factorio developers... this error message is exactly the reason why you should leave it to well established steam functionalities to setup and manage network traffic. I know game development is hard: you have to be a coder, you have to be a designer, you have to setup a storyline etc etc... so it is totally acceptable that you are not a network expert. But if you know that then please please please... dont hack something that is shitty (and port forwarding is shit!). Due to this (and more IT bugs in the firmware of my router that do not let me setup port forwarding) I just spent 25 bugs for nothing, so thanks for wasting my time tonight! ((

If you're using the Steam version of the game and the host is using the Steam version of the game it does use Steams networking.
