Multiplayer

Every time I host a multiplayer game I get a message which reads:

'Failed to determine external IP address. Other players might not be able to connect'

So I have tried getting one of my mates to host instead and they seem to be having the same problem. I'm not a whizz on computers so if you have a solution could you please explain in lamens terms as I have no idea where to start regarding a solution.

Are you connecting to a LAN or WAN host?. I suppose its a WAN host, maybe he has restricted NAT (CGNAT)
