[0.17.0] Does not update to 0.17.1

When starting or when doing check for udpates, I try to update from 0.17 to 0.17.1. It restarts factorio but still on 0.17.0 and asks to update again .... update is not happening

Note: This is on MacOS
Note2: It does not seem to try to download anything. It seems to just restart factorio and thus stays on the same version
Note3: Attached the log which is ofc previous log as factorio is restarted. Note that it says restarted for reason other than update in the log but it restarted when I clicked update

There is no error displayed in my case.
Clicking Update now just restarts the game with no error being displayed but nothing downladed and thus no update happening

I did a hard update to 0.17.1 = I downloaded 0.17.1 and reinstalled and now that 0.17.2 is out, I got the same issue. It detects there is an update but clkicking "Update Now" does not update and just restarts factorio. The log shows the same as the log I already posted.
