Loading old version map with new version client? Issues?

Hi,

i was wondering what happens when you load say 0.10 map in 0.11 what happens? do you get the new updates in the map or do you have to recreate the map or what?

The new updates are on the map. You have to research tank, gates etc. I haven't seen a spitter base though.

i think i was just attacked by a spitter but turrents took them out
