[0.16.38] Game freezes when loading a map

Hello!

Since the version 0.16.37 and till now on I am having a big problem.

When I try to load a map, the game stops responding and freezes. Using the task manager is the only way to close it.

That is to say, a bar named "Loading map XXX" comes to the end and then nothing happens.

Maybe the issue has something to do with the size of the map (it's 160MB).

Does anyone else have such issue?

To the developers: if you see this post and need some additional logs etc., i will send them. It's however a bit of a problem to upload such a big map.

How long do you let it wait for?

It might be doing some intensive consistency checks, which could take a few minutes

Hello,

I've waited for a little bit longer, and it opened.

Last time I've tried I spent 5 minutes waiting. Waiting for another 6 minutes (to a total of 11) solved the problem.

I just didn't think it would take a 7820X @ 4.0GHz 11 minutes.
