Having trouble whenever I try to join or host a game on wifi, lan works fine. I have a feeling it might be something to do with the wifi extender but would like some help regardless. Is there a way to fix it, or get around it in any way? I love Factorio's multiplayer, but rarely get to use it.
The error message is as follows:
pingpong1.factorio.com:34197 is not a valid address (nodename nor servername provided, or not known).

Re: Pingpong1 address error?
try having the WiFi connection be the only active one. having both wired and WiFi enabled will wreak havoc.
also a lot of WiFi access points don't allow peer to peer connections for security reasons.
if you can do it wired, i would do that. WiFi and gaming are not a good mix.
