Just bought this game for my son with his own money after he played the demo for the evening, you can imagine his dismay when it immediately crashes upon opening. We downloaded the Mac version 0.9.8 x86_64 and are running it on a Macbook Air OS X 10.9.4 The demo worked just fine. Help me ease his pain!
The error code was very long and had to do with missing prototype modules.

Try 0.10.6 and see if it still crashes. http://www.factorio.com/download/experimental
