Factorio crashes randomly 0.15.x

Factorio crashes randomly 0.15.x

The crash consists of steam showing the game running and then immediately stopping.

In the past I've managed to "fix" the crash by running a quick virus scan, (although I doubt
that has anything to do with the problem) now not even this doesn't work.

I have no software that provides an overlay to games (fps counter etc.) as its been pointed out
in other threads and severall full system scans reveal no viruses at work.

Nvidia drivers are fully updated and I've never had any mods installed but for the sake of
hopelessness I've deleted the roaming folder but it still wont work (sometimes).

My system specs are:
-Windows 7
-Intel i5-3570K 3.40GHz
-32 GB RAM
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

I think you have a problem with you're video driver.
Try to update it with geforce experience.
