I started installing a few Bob mods in my game, and when I installed ShinyBob it now crashes the game when it is loading the different mods on the title screen.
I can't go in and disable the mod because it just crashes to desktop. I've tried deleting local files, unistalling the game and reinstalling, and always it picks up those mods and crashes.
I can't find the %appsdata%\Factorio\mods that another moderator mentioned as a solution because I bought the game through Steam on Windows, so the files seem to be labeled differently.
How can I delete the mod from outside the game? Do I need to unlink my Steam account to the forums? Help!

Re: Game Crashes on Steam from ShinyBob Mod
Steam saves the mods in the same folder as the installer from the website.
Press Win+R to open the run dialog and enter this: %appdata%\Factorio\mods
Or just copy-paste it into the address bar of any Windows Explorer window, that will also work.

I use steam also, for windows 8.1, I found the mods here.Frumentarii wrote: I can't find the %appsdata%\Factorio\mods that another moderator mentioned as a solution because I bought the game through Steam on Windows, so the files seem to be labeled differently.
C:\Users\Your User ID Here\AppData\Roaming\Factorio\mods
Hope this helps.
