Can not update the game.

help I am still playing factorio on version 0.11.16 and it sais there are no updates available.
how do I update the game then?

@davidsauvenier if you have the steam version you go in your library, right click on it select properties. A window will open up then click on betas which is the last section then you'll see a bar (the first one on the page) click the bar,an option in that bar is "experimental-The latest experimental build (0.13.x)" click that then close the window the the game will automatically update.

Download a new version from factorio.com (you'll need to login) and install it.
