I don't think that i had this issue before 0.13.12, game normally stayed at or near to 60 fps. I don't use any mods and this game i'm testing i don't have a base to speak of yet. It is actually when i move character away from the base that the lag starts to happen, and i think the reason is the trees. Their shadows/light or something maybe, i don't know. Zoom out to furthest to test lag.
I have tried setting lights render resolution lowest, smokes and clouds rendering off but they don't have any effect at all.
Specs:
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Core i5-6400
GTX 960 (1920x1080)
8 GB DDR4
Game and OS installed on SSD, and Factorio is the single highest memory and cpu using process in task manager at the time. CPU goes to at most 44% while playing. Attached save file when i moved to roughly laggiest spot.

Re: [0.13.13] 30 fps zoomed out at some places
Hi, you probably have Video memory usage set to low in graphics options. Setting it to high or all should increase render performance for you.
Re: [0.13.13] 30 fps zoomed out at some places
Oh wow yes that did it. I had it on medium but now changed to high. Immediate 60 fps at the laggiest spot, how weird.
Can mark this case solved then.
