Problems with GPU and display on adapter

Post by traiben »

What is the problem: there was a discrete graphics card, but it burned down recently pulled thrown, now use integrated into the motherboard, but can not run because Factorio eject and writes an error "failed to create display!". The log is written, the system tries to use the discrete graphics stored in the system as a display on adapter 0, instead of using the integrated on the motherboard as a stored in the system as a display on adapter 1. Tried to fix this myself, but I could not reinstall Factorio result did not give .

What's your video card ? It looks as if there are no specific drivers installed for it, so you use generic ones. Might come from that.
