Server sided mods...

Hi, i was wondering if it were possible to run mods only on server side, so clients don't have to download the mods to play on the server. I was thinking on mods that don't affect the game, only internal things of the server.

The game's MP model doesn't support one peer in the MP session having mods different than the rest. So, no.

Loading mods from the server and having mods that run only on the server are two different things.

Loading mods from the server is something that would be nice although I'm not sure if/when it would happen in the releases.

one of the big issues with loading mods from the server though is that currently, all assets are loaded when the game loads, to download new mods would require a game restart as the game exists at the moment.
