Multiplayer via Hamachi needs specific host

Hey there

I couldnt find anything in a brief search. Maybe because it´s a bit strange.

A friend and I start playing it with Hamachi. We use Hamchi often, and its works pretty well.

Here the problem:
If I host the game, he is not able to join. When he is hosting I have no problem to join and everything works fine.
The thing is, my hardware and uploadspeed is way better than his. So it would work more smoothly.
Its a luxury problem, but I am curious what the problem could be.

I have never used Hamachi, so I sadly can't help you with that.

However, due to the way Factorio multiplayer works, it really doesn't matter who hosts the game - the simulation runs on all connected peers, and neither is a true "server" in the classic sense. So having the weaker machine do the original host has no drawback, except for the initial map upload.
