Game immediately crashes upon launch

Hey, so as soon as I launch the Factorio.exe to start the game using stable it only loads to 90% and using unstable it crashes immediately. On the side I get an error report from my computer (Image 1).

I've tried running as Admin, Uninstalling and reinstalling the game and. running stable and unstable.

My computer specs are:

Win 10
Processor: AMD A4 APU Radeon
RAM: 8GB
OS: Dual operating system [32-bit+64-bit]

The Factorio Error Report comes back with nothing, unless I have the wrong file (Image 2)

Would installing older drivers work (I literally just updated to the newest AMD release)

looks like your drivers are crashing

try to update the video drivers and enabling openGL

This is especially relevant with amd cards.
Note: For this to have any effect you have to have Factorio version 0.12.7 or higher and run on Windows.
Try to force the game to use opengl instead of d3d, you can change it by changing the config value to this:

So I quickly looked up AMD and got my drivers checked by them, they're updated to the newest version (only like two weeks old).

I went into the games config and change the opengl value to true and verified I was running the newest version (0.12.20)

Still crashes upon start up.

On a side note only factorio is doing this. All my other games start up and run without error even while on record.

Actually I didn't notice but now it stays open but theres no screen.

It goes invisible at 10%

For me the force-opengl fixed the problem. Which config.ini did you edit? I had to go to the config folder in my personal folders (Appdata/Roaming/Factorio/config).

I also updated to the new AMD driver 1 week ago and this problem occured in 0.12.17 and now 0.12.20.
