[1.1.104] Game not launching | PopOS

Post by codenamegeneral »

When attempting to launch the game Steam synchronizes Steam Cloud and immediately exits the launching process.
The game worked perfectly yesterday, with the only change today being system and graphics updates.

*factorio-current.log has this:

Other things tested:
  • Using the stable and the beta versions of Steam with no difference between them.
  • Validating file integrity finds no issues.
  • Reinstalled the game with no difference.
  • Running with Proton creates a exception (I expected this but still worth giving a shot)
Factorio appears to be the only installed game that this has affected.

Is this something someone has seen before?
