[1.1.76] Crash on start (GraphicsInterfaceDX11::bindTexture)

[1.1.76] Crash on start (GraphicsInterfaceDX11::bindTexture)

What did you do? Started the game from steam.
What happened? After the game almost starts up, I get an error and am told to post the log here.
What did you expect to happen instead? I expected the game to start
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes? Just about every time. I have been able to start a saved game twice, but then within a few minutes, the same error occurs.

I have updated my GPU, restarted the computer, updated windows, and updated mods. I have also tried it on another computer of mine. The same issue occurred.

Post a log with the crash from the other machine as well please.

Here's the log from my other computer. I have turned off all mods for this one. I was able to start the game and get to the menu. Then it froze.

I uninstalled the GeForce experience and closed discord. I still get the issue.

Since you have the same issue on two systems with different drivers I'd guess you have software installed on both systems that is creating an overlay that is interfering with the graphics driver.

I tried --force-opengl and it just worked. I've never had to use this before. Any idea why that would need to be used all of a sudden?

It could be that some software you are running had an update recently that is bugged, even steam itself has had issues like this. With the issue being reliably reproducible you should be able to test this by disabling stuff until it works.

ok sounds good. At least I know it'll work with the opengl code. I was half tempted to format the whole computer and start from scratch :)
