The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
When I load version 1.0 of the map, the system displays an error:
The scene [level] caused an unrecoverable error. Please report this error to the scene author。 Error while running event level::on_configuration_changed __level__/freeplay.lua:220: attempt to index global 'global' (a nil value) stack traceback: __level__/freeplay.lua:220: in function 'on_configuration_changed' __core__/lualib/event_handler.lua:87: in function <__core__/lualib/event_handler.lua:84>
I also attached my log and archive, can anyone help me solve this problem, thank you, this is very important to me, I spent a lot of time

Update the game and post a new log of a session with the issue, the log you posted is of 2.0.7 and shows a different problem.

See 52433 on how to provide files.
The new log does not show you trying to load any save file.

Re: The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
Because I'm not sure if my reply contains a forum attachment, I uploaded the zip file to Google Drive for your review. Also, when I was trying to open the file, I used [Sync Modules] and then clicked [Load]. After opening [Sync Modules] again, the load module I checked seemed to be unchecked.

Re: The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
This is not a 1.0 but a 1.1 save. Try replacing files on a copy of the save as described here: viewtopic.php?p=654770#p654770
Re: The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map

Re: The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
Big bro, I’m begging you, could you please help me fix this save file? I’ve searched through tons of information, but nothing works. Downgrading the game version is the only way to load it, but I really want to use this save file to play the DLC. I don’t want this save to remain just a memory.

Re: The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
I grabbed the zip and updated the freeplay.lua file to fix the errors. It loads on my 2.0.28 install fine, though I didn't bother syncing mods, just loaded it into vanilla.tntsg1 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 4:02 am Because I'm not sure if my reply contains a forum attachment, I uploaded the zip file to Google Drive for your review. Thank you very much for the great help big brother, thank you very much, although there are still some problems, maybe you can change the game mode a bit? Or make a scenario or some other mode? Thank you very very much, this archive is very important to me.Silari wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 2:47 amI grabbed the zip and updated the freeplay.lua file to fix the errors. Re: The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
I feel like you renamed the wrong file, because that error message doesn't match the file I uploaded. If this one doesn't work, I can't help you.tntsg1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 5:18 am?But I also can't open it01-03-2025, 21-17-38.pngSilari wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 2:47 amI grabbed the zip and updated the freeplay.lua file to fix the errors. Re: The new version is not compatible with the old version of the map
Thanks to all the great guys! I found out that the reason the archive problem was not opening even after fixing it was because of the game body, I reinstalled the game body and the factorio folder in my c drive and after redownloading it I was able to start it up! Thanks to all of you for your help, I love this game and my archive is back up and running!
