Hardware refresh

Hi All. I'm fairly new to Factorio and massively looking forward to Space Age coming out in Oct. Reading the regular FFF updates has got me thinking on the topic of PC specs. I'm not a massive gamer, infact, I now only play Factorio (PC) + console.

Given a resonable budget what would the group recommend I look at in terms of CPU/motherboard/Memory/GFX ?

My current spec is and I3 overclocked. 8Gb Ram.Radeon AMD RX580 8Gb. Game currently runs ok but can start to chug a bit when zoomed out.

Assuming SA will benefit from a bit more grunt ? Wondering what a good setup would be. I'll build it now ready for Oct.

Another FFF related question .... What do the devs at WUBE play test on ?

If all you play is factorio there is no need to upgrade your graphics card.
The ideal CPU is still the 7800x3d, if that is outside your budget you can compare alternatives here
