[1.1.107] Mods fail to install from the in-game mod manager

General information about the system:
- OS: NixOS 23.11 (Gnome)
- Factorio was installed via steam

- What did I do?
After reinstalling factorio via steam with no issues, I tried synchronizing my mods to a previous game.
- What happened?
When getting to the "sync mods with save" screen, after pressing on the "confirm" button multiple times, I got the errors "Install failed for <mod name>: Download failed: OpenSSL SSL_connect: Connection reset by peer in connection to mods.factorio.com:443", for different mods.
- What did I expect to happen instead?
I expected the mod to be downloaded and installed as usual, then a game restart.
- Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
This is the first time it has happened.
