[0.17] FPS drop compared to 0.16 (Intel HD Graphics 4000)
[0.17] FPS drop compared to 0.16 (Intel HD Graphics 4000)
Hi. After updating Factorio to 0.17 I notice that after about 2-3 hours of play my FPS drops to 30-40. I did not have the same problem in 0.16, even with a much larger base. I have already set all possible options to reduce the use of FPS, but nothing helps. Any ideas what to do (except for buying a new computer) ?

Re: [0.17] FPS drop
Maybe some extra info: logs, specs, ...?
Re: [0.17] FPS drop
Hello, see this: 68653 and post needed information please (logs, screenshots with debug timings, and save is possible)
Re: [0.17] FPS drop
I apologize for the lack of information in the first post. I rarely use online forums. I hope that what I have added is enough. Unfortunately, after updating to 0.17.31 it is even worse and even when starting the game I lose FPS.
In the save that I added, I turned off the pollution, biters and cliffs, but it also did not help.
Info about my PC:
Window 7 Home Basic
Intel Core i5-3210M CPU 2.50GHz
RAM 8.00 GB
Is there anything else you need?

Re: [0.17] FPS drop
Try to update your graphics driver. The version you have seems to be from ~2013 and it might not be fully optimized for DX11 yet.

This fixed the FPS drop. When I have a moment to check on a larger base, but for now everything looks good. Thanks you so, so much!
