[0.16.51] game wont start after downgrading it from experimental

So I played a while in the experimental versions and would like to play wiht some friends that are running the 0.16 version. After installing the stable version and starting it, the game crashed at exactly 89% with the error message: invalid value "debug" of ItemLevel at ROOT.debug.show-sprite-counts
Tried to reininstall it, and it didnt work. The experimental 0.17 version does work though.

Remove the config file that you can find in your user data directory.
