Save File Folder

Hi,

is it somehow possible to force the game NOT TO make any save files mods whatsoever under the system partition in the "AppData/Roaming/..." folder?

Its annoying as hell for me that the game does not keep all their files in the folder I choosed to install it.

I have a very small SSD System Drive and a normal Harddrive for my games and if this game suddenly blocks 500 MB on my SSD its really bad.

Use the .zip download package instead of installer, that one keeps everything in one place.

If you don't want to redownload your game, edit config-path.cfg:
The final line should say:

use-system-read-write-data-directories=false

Now saves are stored into factorio's install folder.
