Game freezes when window maximized

Hi.

I've run into a problem when launching Factorio lately.

The game starts and loads properly if it's run in full-screen or in windowed mode that is at default size. If I try to maximize the window - game freezes (up to a point when I need to launch process manager and kill off Steam to shut it down). I noticed the problem about a week ago, I didn't run the game since late December, was running fine in maximized window back then (as I always play Factorio).

Running GTX 1070 with latest drivers (updated today, was running previous driver - same thing).

Hi, does it still happen if you open Factorio properties in Steam library and set launch options to following?

Seems it's a DX problem then.

Hi, I'm having a similar problem, but my whole computer is crashing, and it's only after a few minutes of playing, it doesn't happen right away. I've tried the opengl flag and that didn't solve it for me. Any ideas?
