Port Forward AT&T problems

Post by ctoptrophobe »

Hello!

Hopefully I'm not beating a dead horse to a bloody pulp, but I'm having an issue successfully port forwarding the game. I have tried port forwarding my router to UDP 34197, but I've had no luck. I've tested the ports on both canyouseeme and portchecker just to be sure.

I've looked for port forwarding software, but none have had my router in their list and cannot find it after updating the software either.

I am currently using an (AT&T) Arris NVG589, here is my setup:

Thanks for checking this out,

Both canyouseeme and portchecker are for testing open TCP ports (HTTP, SMTP, DHCP, FTP,...) and both tell me closed although my UDP 34197 is open and working.
The best option is to just try connecting to a server and see if it works. There are some public servers listed in the Multiplayer subsection.

Also, here's a guide for the Arris NVG589 on AT&T.

I tried connecting to 3 servers with no luck. Thank you for the link, but thats the one I used to double check my setup :P

Still no luck unfortunately :(

Well, there is always the old stand by: factory reset, and follow the instructions again
