In my Setup im using an Yamaha av receiver to output the Audio to speakers or Headphones, when i use the receiver as audio output the sounds start to stutter/cut out due to the game doing something funky with the output ( see Video). This happens in all different output modes (5.1,2.0, headphones), when i switch the audio device to a different device i have no problems. This happens regardless of sounds being played and has only been a problem in Factorio.
The stuttering/cutting out is really inconsistent, sometimes it works for 30 seconds straight sometimes it stutters once every second or more. This problem is consistent, it happens every time i use the AV Reviewer. Switching the game to monitor connected to the Receiver did not solve it, same with switching audio settings such as Bit rate and sample rate in Windows.

What is the audio format on that Yamaha AV receiver output?
Re: [1.1.107] Audio on HDMI passthrough stuttering/cutting out
Normally its PCM and when its cutting out it says no Signal. ( See Photo)

Are you able to change the audio format in Windows for that output to something like 24bit/48kHz?
Re: [1.1.107] Audio on HDMI passthrough stuttering/cutting out
Yes but changing that did not solve it, i now have tried it with a different pc, a laptop with Nvidia graphics and that worked just fine, i have attached the logs.
