[wheybags]factorio-data: (packaging issue) version missmatch

We are aware of them, but they have low priority. We have more important things to do. They go here in order not to take space in the main bug thread list.

[wheybags]factorio-data: (packaging issue) version missmatch

Post by NovaM » Wed Apr 24, 2019 5:48 pm

The release before 0.16.42 seems good.

The issue was introduce in the 0.16.42.
The issue is found in all version since 0.16.42 up to the lastest 0.17.32.

The value of the version field in the `base/info.json` file does not match the release.

Good (0.16.41):
https://github.com/wube/factorio-data/c ... 03f785d77b

Bad (0.16.42:
https://github.com/wube/factorio-data/c ... ff=unified

You can see the version jumping from 0.16.41 to 0.16.43.

All release made after is affected.

It is not a blocking issue but it probably reflect a bug in the script used to release a version.
I didn't start to make pull-request on github. Let me know if you need help.

Here is the full list about the check I made : https://gist.github.com/tst2005/e0101ea ... 9553033eee

I also see there is missing tag ( from 0.16.38 to 0.16.41 and to 17.0.2 ), I don't know if it is wanted or not.

Best Regards,

Not a game bug, so it doesn't need to be in Assigned and block stable release. Moving to Minor issues.
