The game sometimes freezes when turning the screen (Windows: ctrl + left alt + arrow, switches from 1920x1080 to 1080x1920 in my case)
This only happens sometimes (4 out of 5 for me).
This first happened in 0.13.15, but I updated it to 0.13.16 before testing further, it still happens in 0.13.16
Save game where it always happens (for me, tested three times):
For those wondering about the use case: none, I tried to switch to a different desktop (ctrl + windows + arrow) but used alt instead of the windows key. Then the game froze and I lost 30 whole seconds of killing worms, poor me.

Re: [0.13.15;..16] Freeze on video output rotation
Does it happen when you change the display resolution through non-rotation means?
Re: [0.13.15;..16] Freeze on video output rotation
Thanks for the report.
This is minor issue and won't be fixed any time soon.
When we get to fixing it would be helpful to know what version of Windows do you use, information about your GPU and drivers, how do you have the game configured ... all that information is in Factorio log.

Re: [0.13.15-17] Freeze on video output rotation
Updates / more info:
- Still happens in 0.13.17.
- Does not always happen. The only constant seems to be that it freezes when there are some enemy entities nearby.
New save file (latest version of previous save file): Log for that save file: Instructions to reproduce:
- Walk to the right / east until biters & spawner would be in view when fully zoomed out. (ie. zoom out, walk until they are in view. Game freezes even when zooming back in so that enemies are not visible)
- rotate screen.
Notes:
- does not freeze when rotating in that forest or in my base, then it works fine. It only freezes when the enemies are nearby.
- Windows gives a notification sound when the game freezes, which may mean that my graphics driver / card did not respond. However, I don't know for sure, because there is no actual notification, only the sound, and it does not seem to take any longer before the screen is rotated and windows becomes responsive again.
- This also happens when changing the resolution.
- To prevent miscommunication, here are some definitions:
-- freezes != crashes: freeze means that the program does not respond, crash means that it terminates (program closes), optionally with an error. In this case, the game freezes.
-- enemies: any non-empty set with only the following elements: biter, spawner, worm, spitter.
-- nearby: would be in view when fully zoomed out.
System configuration / info for reference:
- Factorio version: first seen in 0.13.15, latest tests in 0.13.17
- Windows version: 10.0.10586 Build 10586
- hardware
-- Display adapters:
--- INTEL(R) HD Graphics 4600
--- NVIDIA Quadro K1100M
-- monitors:
--- Generic PnP monitor
-- Last events for all of them were 2016-07-09, which I assume means Juli 9th. This is probably the moment I migrated to Widows 10.
