[0.18.47] Crash on Comfy server: EnvironmentSoundPlayer::update

I've been playing on one of the Comfy server (can't recall a name not find it right now due to the reasons described below) - the one with multiple underground levels, ability to fight bosses.

I started a boss fight a few times in a row quickly (killing them in a fraction of second with personal lasers), and each of those kills produced a custom timed message box. When I hit the boss battle button again when I had about 10 such messages on the screen then the game froze and crashed. Moreover the server then disappeared from the list of multiplayer servers (EDIT: confirmed that the server has crashed at that time as well).

Not entirely sure what is the root cause, but I guess client crash for whatever reason is a viable reason to post the report here.

Saves from an earlier version of the same crash is in
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=87454&p=504351&hilit=comfy#p504351

Theory from someone was that it had to do with lasers killing the boss in single tick so you moved in and out instantaneously.
