Biter attacks are reduced since a recent patch

after some unsuccessful research of a problem i have with too little biter attacks in my recent games i was told about the changes that was made to reduce attack waves. in my opinion the changes that were made should be optional when making a new game.
i am playing with bob mods, so you have more weapons thats makes it kinda easy to kill huge biter swarms.
right now it is kind of boring (see the attached savegame, mod list).

i am not using bobs enemies because i thought its a mod problem, but it seems its intended. the bob mod maker said its the only mod that effects the behavior.

maybe somebody could have a look at it (its the only thing that bothers me in the game, after 558 hours in 7 months)
