I believe there may have been an unintentional reduction of the mining productivity cost by about 80%. I like the idea of making each upgrade more impactful, but the total cost of mining productivity has been reduced by about 80% or so.
Before:
2%-10%
100+200+300+400+500 = 1500
12%-20%
600+700+800+900+1000 = 4000
22%-30%
1100+1200+1300+1400+1500 = 6500
After:
10% = 500 (66% reduction)
20% = 1000 (75% reduction)
30% = 1500 (~77%?)
beyond this the reduction climbs at an asymptote towards 80%? or something? Im not great at math but yeah, the overall reduction in costs makes mining research almost trivial compared to how it was, and I dont believe any end game players ever thought it was too expensive to begin with, I'm afraid this change makes mining research too powerful. If you all disagree....well it's your game =)
