[0.17.4] MacOS: It's unplayable slow (input lag)

Hardware ist a MacBook Pro from mid 2014 (3 GHz, 16 GB Ram, 1.5 GB Intel Iris)

Input lag can be seen in all Menus, especially in the mods menu, moving mouse over list of mods can take up to 10 secs.

In game using zooming in/out make the game really slow. It can take up to a minute, to zoom in/out. There is no difference in using lower resolution or disable smoke. The average FPS is 34.
With 0.16 Factorio runs smoothely fast on this laptop.
