[0.11.1] Plugging second monitor in causes crash

Post by PalllaX »

Hey,

so because my server is running on my table and I don't tried the new dedicated server guide yet - I had to put one of my two monitors from my Windows PC into the server and after starting a MP game on the server backwards to Win-PC. When I'm doing this factorio crashes everytime.

Reproduce:
1. start factorio on your Windows PC with two monitors plugged in.
2. Unplug one of the two monitor (everything you had on two monitors will be forced to run on the single one. Factorio can handle this)
3. Plug the second monitor back to the Win PC
4. factorio stopped working (crash)

Background:
I have 1 23" iiyama (HDMI) and one 24" Samsung monitor (DVI).
Windows 10
GTX 770
i7-4770k
16GB RAM

edit: when I'm back at home I post logs / screens.

Well the log isn't so special I guess. Don't know.
Tried both
Fullscreen mode and windowed mode.
When you plugin a second monitor while the game is running it crashes everytime.

This is practically the same problem as this: https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =48&t=8243

So I'm moving it to duplicates.
