I am implementing a blueprint which has a "remote kill switch" for certain bases, where I can run a very long line of wire, or use a wireless mod I'm working on, to disable power to remote bases when I do not need their product.
However, making a blueprint which has a power pole, copper wire connected to a switch, the other side of the switch connected to another power pole, where the poles had their connecting wire removed, does not survive the blueprint stamping. The removed copper wire re-appears, and worse, the manually attached copper wire to the switch does not.

Copper wires aren't currently included in blueprints by design.
With the addition of the power switch we may add them but for now that's not a bug.

If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

But why are they not included? Would this not work better?Rseding91 wrote:Copper wires aren't currently included in blueprints by design.

- store all wires between poles on the blueprint
- poles built from this blueprint are connected to others also built from the blueprint exactly the way it is set in the blueprint
- poles built automatocally connect to other poles (that were there before) just like they do now
