[cube] Dedicated Server Map DL Speed

I'm running the most current version of the game as of today client/host wise. However, when connecting it takes around 1-3 mins to download a 5mb map. The downlaod starts at around 1MB/s then quickly drops to under 100 kB/s.

The dedicated server is ran on my datacenter machine. Quad core intel, 16gb ram etc etc, but it's also on a 1gbit line with no limits. I can download at 900+Mbit/s and upload at well over 100+ on the server. Is there something I can do to fix this?

My home net is 100Mbit down 25Mbit up. I can download at 10MB/s all day long no issues.

I know MP is fairly beta I think (?) but not sure if this is common?

Got the same problem... I have headleas server with D:10mbps U:10mbps internet speed and max a can get is 2mb.

Yeah, I can't even begin to imagine when the file gets any larger than 5-10MB. This is just for me and a single friend but at 100kb/s it's ridiculous lol
