I've spent quite some time designing proper ammo-producing hauler space platform, and when I was finished I've noticed that when I zoom out in remote view there are "smudges" to the left of the ship. I most probably had there some temporary constructions or just ghosts that I was cut-n-pasting around while planning, can't tell, only noticed those when I was finished.
Some funky details about those, reproducible on the save (just open the map for the Alone & Self Aware space platform):
1. You can build a 1-wide platform needle to the glitched map. When the constructed platform touches the smudge all smudges disappear, like the map refreshes.
2. You can mark the whole needle for deconstruction (to be precise, I pressed Ctrl-X, selected the needle, and pressed Q immediately; I did it while it still was finishing construction), it will be quickly removed, but then there will be a new smudge of the end of the platform needle.
Maybe it is caused by some "map radius" heuristics around space platforms? If you quickly deconstruct a lot, the edge goes out of range for the updates? Dunno.

P.S. Thank you for the amazing game and the expansion! Even the hard parts are super interesting, like the ship designs! Wanted to finish those off before venturing onto Gleba. This report is just a minor thing I've noticed.
