[2.0.21] Inserter stack size defaults to 1 when parametrising blueprints

Post by Rayffer »

As the title says, I was wondering why my stack inserters that I use to fill my trains all had a stack size of 1, after many attempts, I figured out that when inserters have their "override stack size" option checked, when blueprinting, if you choose to parametrize the blueprint, you can change the stack value to whatever value you want (between 1 and 12) but as soon as you save the parametrization settings, if you open again the parametrization screen, you can see that it has been saved as 1.

Strangely enough, when hovering over the numeric value, a tooltip with "Filter x10" appears next to the inserter icon.

Find here the blueprintg string to reproduce the issue.

Reproduction steps:
  • Plop it down
  • Open the parametrization configuration screen
  • Confirm the changes.
  • Open the parametrization screen again
  • Check that the value for the inserter stack size has been saved as "1", instead of the value you saved

As a workaround, you can use a constant combinator to set the stack size with the "Stack size" signl
