Kill a demolisher achievements don't trigger from tesla turrets

I killed a couple small demolishers using only tesla turrets and did not unlock "If it bleeds, we can kill it" and when I killed a medium demolisher with only tesla turrets the same thing happened, I did not get "We need biggers guns." However, when I killed a small demolisher using gun turrets, I did get "If it bleeds". I'm unsure if this is inteded but the text of the achievement doesn't seem to indicate tesla turrets would be exempt
