[1.1.101] Can't always place corrner walls around spawner

Post by superstalkerX »

I have experienced some buggy behavior when trying to encase a spitter nest with walls. I am sometimes unable to place a corner wall around one of the nests, unless i remove an adjacent wall first.
I have created a video showing off the behavior:
Weird nest behavior with building.mp4
Here is the video of the bug

I have also have a map save to experience the behavior:
Bug nest weird.zip

Note that this map is on a multiplayer server running a custom scenario. That being said, nothing about the scenario has made any alterations to placement of nests or other objects other than spilling items on ground when an entity has taken damage. All alterations can be found in the control.lua, its a very simple scenario code.

I have been unable to recreate this bug in a sterile environment but if using the map attached to this post, you can freely experience the bug and easily reproduce it.

This is because a corner wall piece has a larger collision box than the others.

Moving to duplicates because of the linked report and images explaining what's happening.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
