[1.1.42] Shotgun shoots in wrong direction

Hi Devs,

When the mouse cursor is near the player, the shotgun shoots in the wrong direction. I posted this bug back for 1.1.30 (viewtopic.php?f=47&t=97805) and I know it was also reported back in 0.17.70 (viewtopic.php?p=461762) but both of those posts are buried in the 'minor' section of the bug reports whereas I think this should be considered again for fixing since it does affect gameplay and is not just visual. I am sad that as of 1.1.42 it is not fixed and it does not look like it is going to be fixed in this 'final release' version unless it gets visibility again.

I am hoping a dev sees this new topic of mine and considers perhaps fixing this long-standing bug. Thank you so much for your time reading this.

If you think a there is new information about an issue already reported post in that report and don't knowingly create a duplicate.
